I have been Principal at Bishopdale School for two years now. Prior to that I worked as a Resource Teacher of Learning and Behaviour in the area for five years. We moved down from the Waikato seven years ago – and I had been Principal there for 10 years. I have two adult children, a grandson and a granddaughter.

In my spare time I love tramping. Usually I go by myself, sometimes with my dog, Jake, and sometimes with both him and my husband, Laurie.

My biggest achievement is walking the length of the South Island – the Te Araroa Trail. Now, my main goal is to finish walking the length of the North Island.

I look forward to meeting with all our tamariki and their whānau.
