Stars of the Week
Congratulations to this week's Stars of the Week, who are:
Nadia Omidi in Titoki
Nadia loves to play with her friends when she comes to school, but is also eager to learn new things in class. She said she wasn't keen working from home during lockdown and is glad to be back at school. Nadia's favourite treat is cookies and would eat them every day if she could.
Jayden Booth in Pohutukawa
Jayden is also glad to be back at school and said he wasn't keen doing school work at home. His favourite activity at school is soccer, which he loves to play during breaktimes, and hopes to be on the school soccer team when he is old enough. His favourite food that he would love to eat every day is anything spicy that his Mum cooks for him, especially if it has chilli peppers in it!
Hadi Shafiyee in Kowhai
Hadi said he would rather not do school work at home, and that he prefers to learn at school. He loves to play with his friends when he's at school, and said his favourite subjects, which he is really good at, are maths and reading. If he could eat his favourite food every day it would be sausages that his Mum cooks for him.
Mason Britton in Totara
Mason said he kind of liked learning from home during lockdown, but that it's much better being back at school with his friends. His best subject is reading, and said this is also his favourite. If he could eat his favourite food every day he would choose cheerios.
Bethany Ischia in Puriri
Bethany also prefers learning at school with her friends, rather than at home. She said writing is her favourite subject, and enjoys learning all the different aspects of it, such as spelling, punctuation and layout. If she could eat her favourite food every day it would be donuts, the ones that have a yummy filling and decorated with a smiley face in icing.
