Stars of the Week

Office (Bishopdale School) —

Congratulations to this week's Stars of the Week, who are:

Jackson Patterson in Pohutukawa

Jackson loves to come to school to play with his friends.  He also likes learning maths in class and said it is his best subject.  He likes the music lessons the school has each Wednesday and is enjoying learning to play different instruments.  When he is grown up he would love to look after a pet fish or turtle.

Lennox enjoys learning different things at school, his favourite being maths, writing and drawing.  He likes all different colours and enjoyed helping to make the rainbow that is displayed on his classroom art wall.  He likes playing with his friends at morning tea, after he has eaten the tasty treats his mum has put in his lunchbox for him.

Devan Nauer in Kowhai

Devan enjoys learning to read at school and also looks forward each day to playing with his friends.  He likes the music lessons we are having on a Wednesday and has been learning to play the drums, and would love to learn to play the electric guitar in the future.  When he is all grown up and if he could have any pet he wanted he would like to have a lion.

Janelle Albit in Totara

Janelle recently helped to write a very nice thank you letter to Waltham School who were very kind to pass on to the children free fleece vests and some tops that match our school uniform.  In class Janelle loves learning basic facts in maths and is also very keen on art.  She enjoys the music lessons on a Wednesday, and her favourite instruments to play are the maracas, xylophone and castanets.  If she could have any animal in the world as a pet when she is grown up, she would like to have either a lion or a panda.

Peyton looks forward to coming to school to see his friends each day and playing in the playground, especially on the monkey bars.  He is enjoying the music lessons each Wednesday and is learning to play the glockenspiel, and in the future would like to learn to play the electric guitar.  When he is grown up he would like to have either a dog or a cat as a pet.

Kaleb Singh in Puriri

Kaleb looks forward to playtime at school each day and also says its good when the class has a 'soft start' at the beginning of the day.  He enjoys literacy in class and has been learning about earthquakes. If Kaleb could look after any type of animal he wanted to in the world when he is older he said he would like a parrot or a panda.
