Stars of the week this week are:

Jayce Puklowski in Room 1.

Jayce has some wobbly teeth at the moment and is hoping to soon have another visit from the Tooth Fairy.  At school Jayce loves to swing from the monkey bars in between practicing his excellent story writing.  At home he keeps busy playing with his puppy, who likes to chase him, and has fun trying to hide from him.

Zaidyn Williams in Room 2.

Zaidyn started at Bishopdale School at the beginning of the year, after joining us from another school in Christchurch.  He enjoys playing tag in the playground with his friend Sonny, when he is having a break from working hard on his writing.

Yona De Mesa in Room 3.

Yona enjoys reading and has a great imagination which helps with her story writing.  She has an older brother, who she likes to play with in the garden at home.

Khalea McCausland in Room 4.

Khalea likes to come into the Office to say hello in the morning and is always happy to see her teachers.  She is a member of our Junior Cultural Group and enjoys practising her handwriting and listening to stories in class.  At home she likes to read stories with her family and playing with her younger brother.

Dulanya Herath Mudiyanselage in Room 6.

Dulanya likes to practice her handwriting at school and writing great stories.  At morning tea and lunchtime she likes to play on the flying fox with her friends.  At home she likes to chill out watching the Titans, which is her favourite show on TV.  She has an older sister and tomorrow is her younger brother's birthday, and she is hoping he will have a chocolate birthday cake, which is her favourite.

Maddison Ellis in Room 8.

Maddie loves to chill out after a hard day at school.  She has an older brother and a baby sister who is only 8 months old and has started to crawl.  She also keeps busy at home with her 4 cats.  At school she has fun joining in with jump jam and dodgeball, and also likes to use her imagination when writing stories.
