Stars of the Week
Congratulations to this week's Stars of the Week, who are:
Arsalan Hussaini in Tī-Kōuka
Arsalan loves to build houses with the magnetic blocks in class, and when he gets home he likes to relax by playing with his favourite toys. Arsalan said that when he grows up he would like to be a Police Officer.
Sohee Kwon in Kānuka
Sohee has enjoyed taking part in the yoga lessons the children have had recently at school. She also likes to play with the Barbie dolls during play time. When she gets home she likes to read a good book, and when she grows up she would like to be a Doctor.
Shakur Millar in Koromiko
Shakur also likes to build different structures with the magnetic blocks in class, and when he gets home he likes to relax by watching his favourite TV programme. When Shakur grows up he said he would like to be a Scientist.
Jaylah Langdon in Kahikatea
Jaylah would like to be a Pilot when she grows up - she doesn't want to fly a small plane but a big one with lots of people on it. She loves playing in the playground at school and has been enjoying the yoga lessons. When she gets home she likes to spend some time playing with her Barbie dolls.
Jesiah Rawiri in Kōwhai
Jesiah plays rugby league for the Papanui Tigers and likes to go to his local park. At school his favourite subject is maths, although he has also enjoyed taking part in the yoga lessons. When Jesiah grows up he would like to be a Police Officer.
Kapish Bhiwagade in Mataī
Kapish also enjoyed the yoga lessons and likes to practise his maths in class. At home he likes to relax by watching his favourite TV programme, Pokemon, or ride his bike at the park. When Kapish grows up he would like to be a Scientist.
