Stars of the Week
Congratulations to this week's Stars of the Week, who are:
Shakur Millar in Ti-Kouka
Shakur is in our New Entrants class and has made lots of friends to play with. In class he likes practising his building skills by making towers from the blocks. He really enjoys the hot lunches at school and likes to drink plenty of water during the day. When he grows up he would like to work with cars.
Arsalan Hakimi in Matai
Arsalan said he really enjoys achieving CARE Cards at school and loves to choose a prize from the prize box. He likes to get plenty of exercise in the playground by playing games and running around. His favourite school lunch is macaroni cheese, and when he grows up he would like to be a builder so that he can build his own home.
Hydee Edmonds-Heke in Kowhai
Hydee likes to practise her writing skills in class, but prefers to write about facts rather than making up stories. She likes the school lunches, especially the wraps which you put together yourself. When she grows up she would like to be a Hairdresser and said she would like to cut everybody's hair for $1 each.
Emeline Vaea in Kanuka
Emeline enjoys playing with her friends at school, but also likes to improve her maths skills during class. She likes the school lunches and said her favourite is croissant with mustard dressing, although she also really likes the mini pancakes. When she grows up she would like to own her own make-up shop.
Kapish Bhiwagade in Koromiko
Kapish likes to improve his maths skills in class and said he is very good at maths. He also likes learning ICT. His favourite part of the school lunches is the mini pancakes with fruit sauce. When he grows up he would like to be a Scientist, and be able do experiments.
Ari Otufangavalu in Kahikatea
Ari's favourite lesson at school is writing, and said she really enjoys using her imagination to make up different stories. She thinks the hot lunches are great and enjoys all of them. When Ari grows up she would like to be a Teacher.
Jevayce Isaacs in Totara
Jevayce has only been at Bishopdale School a short while but has already made lots of friends. He enjoys sport, especially soft ball, tennis and cricket. Jevayce likes the school lunches, especially the ones with meat. When he grows up he would like to do streaming on the internet.
