This week's Stars of the Week are:

Makere Taare Pao-Toleafoa in Titoki

Makere has had a busy morning at school today, and has really enjoyed completing some puzzles of people.  She loves to play with her friends in the playground, and has great fun playing Hide n Seek, which she is very good at.  At the weekend she has a big family to keep her company and have fun with.

Kinley Meredith in Kawakawa

Kinley has been busy learning some difficult maths problems in class this morning.  At break times she likes to have fun by playing Tag, at which she is very fast.  She has an older brother at school and a little sister at home, both of which she has fun with when she's not busy learning at school.

Paige Absolum in Kowhai

Paige has had a fun morning learning about our CARE focus by playing fun games.  Her favourite game at the moment in the playground is Hide n Seek.  At home she loves spending time with her Mum baking delicious chocolate chip cookies.

Rylan Edmonds-Heke in Pohutukawa

Rylan has had a busy morning learning maths, but also had fun counting how many CARE cards he has achieved so far. During break times he enjoys playing around the trees and occasionally likes to play Busted.  At the weekends he likes to play on his PS4 and enjoys spending time with Dad.

Khalea Naur in Puriri

In Khalea's class they have been rotating round different maths activities this morning.  At lunchtime she likes to play kabaddi with her friends as well as a new game called Creepy Doll.    At the weekends she loves to stay with her cousins.

Zahrajaan Afshar Haydari in Totara

Zahrajaan has also been busy learning maths this morning, and Mana tutors have also been in her class to talk to the children about being kind and how to use a kind tone of voice.  When she gets the chance she loves to spend time talking to the teachers during break times.  She likes to spend the weekends with her family, but is also a very busy, clever girl learning to speak and write another language.
