Stars of the Week
Congratulations to this week's Stars of the Week, who are:
Te-One Taare Pao-Toleafoa in Tī-Kōuka
Te-One hasn't been at Bishopdale School for very long and loves to play with his sisters during break times. He is looking forward to water day next week, and plans on having lots of fun. At home Te-One enjoys playing Minecraft and for Christmas is hoping for a Minecraft sword or a book with Pokemon cards.
Quentin Phelps in Mataī
It's a shame it isn't water day today as Quentin has been busy in the sandpit at morning tea and still has quite a bit of sand on his hands. He said the best thing about school this year has been playing with his friends, and the worst was the running races on athletics day, as he said he can't run very fast. Quentin is looking forward to Christmas and is hoping to get an iPad from Santa.
Victoria King in Kōwhai
Victoria has a pretty awesome water squirter she would like to bring to school for water day and is planning on having lots of fun. She said she has enjoyed the school lunches this year and her favourite is the macoroni cheese. Victoria is looking forward to Christmas but has no idea what she would like Santa to bring.
Peyton Phelps in Koromiko
Peyton is looking forward to the summer holidays and especially Christmas. He likes gaming and is hoping for a Playstation 4 for Christmas. Peyton said the best thing about being at school this year was playing with his friends. For next week's water day he wants to bring to school a water fidget to play with.
Jeremiah Castillo in Kānuka
Jeremiah is looking forward to water day and is planning on having lots of fun. He said the best things about this year at school have been the pizza parties and the CARE Card prizes. Jeremiah isn't sure what he would like for Christmas as his birthday is also on Christmas Day, so it is a really special day for him.
Spencer Curtis in Kahikatea
Spencer is looking forward to the summer holidays and Christmas this year. He is also looking forward to water day next Friday, and plans on having lots of fun. Spencer said his favourite event at school this year has been going to the pizza party, and he also loves to hang out with his friends.
Clover Spicer in Tōtara
Clover is enjoying her last few weeks at Bishopdale before she goes on to Intermediate next year, where she is looking forward to lessons in singing, dancing and cooking. Her favourite thing this year, has been doing jobs around the school and spending time with her friends. Clover is looking forward to next week's water day and also Year 6 camp in the last week of term.
