Stars of the Week
Congratulations to this week's Stars of the Week, who are:
Mikaere Coster in Titoki
Mikaere likes to build things with the magnets and different blocks in class. He also really enjoys playing with the cars, and when he is old enough he would like to own a black and yellow lamborghini. Mikaere has achieved over 20 CARE cards now and is hoping that Mrs Mac will add toy Transformers to the prize box.
William Sligo in Kawakawa
William likes playing with his good friend Ari at school, and they both like to play in the playground chasing William's brother Cameron. He said he would like to do something exciting during the school holidays, but is happy to play his favourite game of splat the egg on the trampoline. William has achieved over 60 CARE cards and is hoping to choose some lollies next from the prize box.
Emeline Vaea in Kowhai
Emeline has enjoyed her writing lessons this term at school. She also likes to play with her good friend Ardijah during break times. Emeline has achieved over 60 CARE cards and said she wishes she could choose a real life fairy from the prize box!
Ruby Marsh in Pohutukawa
Ruby's favourite subject this term has been maths. She also likes to play in the playground with her friends Bentley and Ella. During the school holidays she will be travelling down to Invercargill to visit family and is hoping to see some snow whilst she is there. She is doing well with her CARE cards and likes the prize she chose from the prize box, which was a small notebook with a padlock.
Clover Spicer in Puriri
Clover is looking forward to a family trip to Ashley Gorge during the holidays and is hoping we might have a warm day so that she can go swimming, but is taking her electronic device with her to watch movies on. This term she has enjoyed her writing lessons, and likes making up stories and publishing them. Clover has 47 CARE cards now and likes to choose popcorn as her prize (where she has the opportunity to pick a friend to play games with on the iPad whilst they eat the popcorn).
Zainab Shafiyee in Totara
Zainab will be travelling to Melbourne during the school holidays to visit her sister who lives there. She enjoys sports and has been a great member of our school netball team this term, and said her favourite time was when she was named player of the day. Zainab has achieved 75 CARE cards and said she loves being able to choose candy from the prize box.
