Time is flying by, we're halfway through the year already. Below are some important dates for this term.

Learning Conferences: Tuesday 22nd and Thursday 24th July

Teacher Only Day: Monday 18th August

Non-Uniform Day for Daffodil Day: Friday 29th August

Scholastic Book Fair: Monday 1st-Friday 5th September

School Photos: Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th September

Home and School Disco: Wednesday 17th September

Grandparents Day: Thursday 18th September (more information during Term 3)

Last Day of Term 3: Friday 19th September

With Mrs Sharlene Heaphy's retirement, we welcome Mrs Vanessa Riley to our Creative Creatures Team. Vanessa is a very experienced teacher and we are lucky to have secured her as a permanent replacement for Sharlene. Both Sharlene and Vanessa with be at the Learning Conferences for Room 1 students in Week 2.

During our PE sessions in Term 3 we are going to be doing gymnastics on a Thursday afternoon. If possible it would be great if students didn't wear tights on these days as we don't want them slipping on the hall floor.

Uniform: We have noticed that many children are coming to school without their school sweatshirt or polar fleece. Our classrooms are always warm, but at this time of the year it can be very chilly outside at playtime and lunchtime, and also when we are out for any physical activities. Please check that your child has a named school top in their bag before they leave for school each day. Outer clothing such as jackets needs to be named as well.
