An amazing group of speakers wowed us with their fabulous opinions based on a variety of set topics as set out by the Lion's Speech Contest.

Our winner this year with Macey Tarrant who spoke completely from memory on What if her pet could talk!

Other speakers were: George Tongaaliki, Jaxon Brown, Faith Walton, Emma Carson-Isles and Nikolai Waters.

Macey now enters the regional contest next Thursday evening and competes against other young speakers from around the South Canterbury Region.
