Letterland Dress Up day

Carmen Brown —

Letterland came to life at Bluestone School last Thursday as Te Tahi children transformed themselves into Letterland characters.

In Te Tahi we learn all about Letterland as part of our phonics programme. To celebrate this we decided to have a Letterland dress up day, where children could come dressed up as their favourite Letterland character.

We had just about every character of the alphabet at school and it was amazing to see such creative and innovative costumes.

First up we held a Letterland parade and sang the Letterland songs. In classes we completed Letterland activities, wrote Letterland stories and completed Letterland handwriting.  We had such an amazing Letterland day.

Take a look at our fabulous Te Tahi children all dressed up.
