Letterland Dress Up Day in Te Tahi
Te Tahi celebrated Letterland on Thursday 16th of November. It was a wonderful day for our children to dress up as their favourite Letterland Character.
Letterland is a programme we use to introduce and teach letter sounds, digraphs, trigraphs and adjacent consonants. Each letter of the alphabet has a character to go with it along with a story/song.
We had some AMAZING costumes! There were plenty of Clever Cats, Vicky Violets, Firefighter Freds and Lucy Lamposts. We had a parade in the hall. Mr Smith, Mrs Sewell and Julie all came as our special guest judges to choose their favourite costumes. It was so difficult to pick!
The children and staff had an absolute blast!
