After a two year break we can finally host another Book Fair and some book fun.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the school hall.  It will run from Monday 5 September until Friday 9 September.  The fair will be open to visit at the following times.

Monday 5 Sep - 2.30 - 3.15pm

Tues - Thursday  - 8.30 - 8.50 am and 2.30 - 3.15pm

Friday 9 Sep - 8.30 - 8.50am

Classes will be able to visit during the day to browse and purchase.

Payments for books/novelty items can be made in cash or by eftpos.  We even have pay wave!

Because of the fair we will not be issuing any more book club brochures this term. However online orders can still be made.  

Many thanks must go to the Home and School members who help with setup and sales during the Book Fair.

Also that week we will be hosting an author visit on Wednesday 7 September.  David Riley is finally able to come all the way from Auckland.  He will present to classes from Years 3-8.

And another exciting announcement is a dress up as a book character day on Friday 9 September.  Get your thinking caps on.  Who will you be? Mrs Ross knows who she is going to come as :-) 

There will also be some lunchtime competitions in the library during the week.  Small prizes of a tasty nature to be won.
