Splatter Paint
Room 3a have been learning about different techniques of painting.
Jackson Pollock is best known for his paintings that he created by splattering, throwing, layering, and dripping paint onto an oversized canvas.
Room 3a had lots of fun creating their own Jackson Pollock inspired artworks. We used a toothbrush and paint for our first session - we found this technique slightly tricky! For our second session we watered down the paint a little and used a paintbrush to splatter the paint. Much easier! Luckily we wore paint shirts and concealed our artwork inside a cardboard box - it got a bit messy!
