Gangsta Granny Strikes Again
This term Room 12 have been reading Gangsta Granny Strikes Again by David Walliams. Along with reading and listening to the text we have been completing many activities which are being sent out to participating classes across New Zealand through a group called The Reading Responders. Each Friday we end our week by participating in the weekly Quiz as a class. This has been a lot of fun. We are nearing the end of our novel study now. Check out what the kids have to say about the book so far and see some of the work which we have done.
Elia - I loved it when Ben met the queen in the Tower of London
Liam Eng - I really liked it when Ben and The Queen went through the sewers.
Lochy - My favourite part was when Ben and his Mum went in the dancing competition and Ben was dressed up as an ice berg.
Eloise - I like that there have been lots of creative activities like building Buckingham Palace using basic Minecraft.
Noah - I love that we made Gangsta Granny's mobility scooter out of Lego.
Paige Scorrar - I loved making our own Black Cat masks.
Zaevia - I love getting to do the drawing activities such as drawing The Black Cat.
Danni - I liked illustrating The Queen.
