Paper Doll Project
Think Tank and Team Explorer worked together to create paper dolls with messages of aroha and support to the Christchurch community.
Two students from Tahatai Coast School in Papamoa wanted to show their support to the victims, their families and the Christchurch community.
“We want to create a long, long line of paper dolls that show kids of all different cultures, together holding hands,” says Emily, aged eight.
This has been an excellent opportunity for our buddy classes to work together to express their sorrow at this tragedy and write messages of aroha, hope and support. The paper dolls reflect the diversity of our New Zealand culture.
