Student Sporting Success
Each year we are proud to recognise the sporting success of our students
Noah Hollamby won the C Grade Timaru Cycling Club Annual 2 Day Tour.
Noah won 3 out of 4 stages during the tour.
1st stage 20km
2nd stage 2km time trail
3rd stage - 16km
4th stage 20km (including Taiko ZigZag)
There are 6 South Canterbury rugby representatives for 2016. Toby, Bailey & Jackson are in the under 48kg team & Nick, Lincoln & Jorga are in the under 65kg.
Our 1/4 turf Hockey team, Bluestone Flyers coached by Amy Hollamby won the Cup for their grade in the South Canterbury Competition. This is a great result with all but one of the players being new to the game.
Our A1 Netball team, coached by Julie Langford and Karyn Grace won the A grade section of the South Canterbury netball competition, going through the second half of the season unbeaten.
Several of our students recently won medals at the Timaru Cycling Club Championships.
