Tō tātou kahu ora
Juliet Maude - March 21, 2023
In Room 12 this term as part of our All About Me unit, we created a living cloak - Tō tātou kahu ora - representing our class and our unique differences as one. We also made our own korowai, and explored our Pepeha. Some of us are from Timaru, others are from different areas in Aotearoa. We learned how to identify with our local maunga - mountain, our local awa - river. Our korowai are made up of koru, reflecting the different people in our families. We are all different, unique and special, and where we come from, makes up who we are.
