Room 15 2015 Kapahaka winners - our thoughts!

As a leader I think everybody in Room 15 strived for excellence to get the trophy -Connor G

We won the kapahaka competition because we were in tune and focused. -Maya and Prab said that we really tried our best.

The other classes did very well but Room 15 put in the most effort and came out on top -Jacob Cox

It was nerve-wracking to hear other classes perform the Kapahaka. -Kaela

All the classes tried really hard but we came out on top. - Devon

Ever single one of us tried our best and I think all the classes did well. -Skylah

We had a tough competition but  we came through in the end. -Adam

Everyone had disadvantages - we all couldn't do the Karinga and we had practised it! - Kahlan

I felt it was tough and a close competition. - Jayda

It was quite a challenge against other classes - Hadlee

Everyone tried there hardest and practice everyday to try to win the Kapa Haka competiton. - Maisy

It was tough everybody did well.The actions were strong not sloppy. -Maddy

We did well becasue we were LOUD! Ruby

It was hard but we were loud and our actions were strong. -Paris, and Jonty said that we sounded like an earthquake.

We were so nervous but we did really well.- Zoe.T and Roshean said that we were very nervous hearing other people practise their Kapahaka.

I was quite nervous about performing in front of a lot of classes and I was hoping that we were going to win and we did. -Aleisha

I enjoyed the competition it was scary in a good way -Shaun

We had some advantages,  most of the other classes were fast -Lucas

I think that  one of the reasons we won was we had 7 Manawanui people -Baxter, and Sam said that we had an advantage with two teachers performing with us!
