In Team Explorer we had an industrious time at the end of Term 3 designing and creating our wearable arts, then presenting them with a 'Wearable Arts' show.

Room 8 made fantastic hats for our class STEAM 'Wearable Arts' challenge.

 First we looked at and researched different types of hats. Then we chose a hat type and designed and planned our hat creations, thinking about the materials that were available for us to use. 

Our basic hat structures were made from recycled newspaper and cardboard. We used paper mache to shape and add parts to our hats. After that we painted our hats and then decorated them with recycled items that we had collected. 

We think we did really well and with lots of hard work and the help of some energetic parents we were able to achieve what we had designed.
