Talofa lava. Thursday 2 June, we celebrated Samoan Language Week with a group of our Samoan students and their families attending a special day to celebrate their identity and belonging at Waimataitai School.

Schools across Timaru shared Samoan culture, dance, language, performances and food at this event, organised by Multicultural Aoraki. Many thanks to Waimataitai School for hosting this day to celebrate Samoan language and culture in South Canterbury. Fa'afetai lava.
