The High Flyers visited the museum as part of our NZ Local Heros, Inventors and Innovators topic studies.

This term we have been learning about Local NZ Heros, Inventors and Innovators. We visited the museum to find out more about our topic.  

We explored the museum looking at the stories and achievements of local heroes in Timaru, and enjoyed a hands on session with our museum educators Ruth and Keely in the education space. We also learned about the impact of local heroes and innovators in their community.

It was really interesting and a great way to learn more about our local NZ history.
