We have been reading about Spiders.
Room spent the week reading about spiders. We read a shared book called "Granny Groggin". It was all about a lady who loved spiders and had a lot of them living in her house. Everyone thought she was weird.
We researched spiders through reading journal articles, articles online and watching video clips. We read a book called the "Kuia and the Spider". It was about a spider and an old lady who had a competition to see who was the best weaver. We weaved mats like the old lady and made spiders.
Check out our display in our retreat and read what we learned.
