Learning in Te Tahi

Jodie Harvey —

The children of Te Tahi have been reflecting on the things that made their first year at school a memorable one.

At Bluestone, we hope to make positive memories for all of the the children that come through our doors. In order to do so we need to make sure we have the voice of the children letting us know what they love and what they get excited about when they come to school each day. Here are some of the thoughts from our 5 year olds.

'I like writing stories about my weekend.' - Issy

'I really like Pataitai because we pick our own activity to do.' - Blayze

'I like going to the Playhouse at Pataitai time and being a cook.' - Grace

'It's fun learning to read cool books.' - Brooke

' I like writing lots of sentences and reading.' - Savanah

' I liked seeing the dragon in the cave and painting flowers.' - Reidon

'Making sandwiches and cookies was fun and I like going to the disco too.' - Brianna
