On Friday the 31st of July Room 16 made eggs fly in THE GREAT EGG DROP!

As part of the High Flyers topic about technology, Room 16 were given the task to design, test and build a device that would allow a raw egg to fall from the top of the adventure playground and land safely without cracking.

They could use any material they wished. There were only two rules, the egg had to be raw and it had to free fall. A number of different designs and strategies were used, most of them working successfully.  The students are now ready to test their devices from greater heights.  Look out for some of these awesome designers in the future.
