Home and School are planning the discos for the last week of Term Two and a broad Magical Ocean Wonderland is the theme.

We asked students for ideas for a theme for the discos and they came up with a very diverse list! We have decided upon this Magical Ocean Wonderland theme because it is completely open to a very wide interpretation. Not only can you think pirates, mermaids, beach, Hawaiian, but also neon, glowing, shiny, rainbows, fairies and yes even super heroes and comic book characters. Dressing up is entirely optional of course, and even better, we have decided to make this disco free of charge.

Discos will be held on the last Thursday of term, July 7th, with Te Tahi and Years 1 and 2 in the afternoon during school time from 1.30-2.30pm (these children come to school in mufti), year 3 and 4s at 4pm - 5.30pm and year 5 and 6s at 6 - 7.30pm. Other arrangements will be made for senior students in Think Tank for later in the year, however these students are welcome to attend the later disco if they would like. Children will be given a packet of chips each plus juice and water to drink.
