A beautiful night of singing was had!

Mrs Maude took our 25 Year 3-8 student choir to perform in the Hui Waiata Music Festival held last Thursday evening at the Life Church on Morgans Road.

The students were conducted and prepared by Mrs Maude and had worked for a number of weeks on items which were sung in Mass, 'Stand By Me' and 'This Little Candle'. They also prepared two solo items as well.

The theme this year was friendship and Bluestone chose to sing two songs on this theme on their own as well., 'You've Got a Friend' and 'Time After Time'.

The students sang beautifully and made their parents and Mrs Maude very proud.

It was lovely to be part of this local event.
