The students really enjoyed the Bluestone Book Week.  Mrs Ross organised a daily book quiz. The first day's quiz was around fairy tales. The 2nd day was guessing the book that the illustration belonged to. The third day was good versus evil and the last day was on book characters. The student's were only allowed to use the Bluestone library or the school's web search to find out the information.  During the book quiz the class learned more about our library and where everything is kept.

Melanie Drewery, a NZ children's author came and spoke to the Team Explorer pod and read some of her stories. Helena and Lenny were lucky enough to attend a writing workshop with her and learned a lot. They both recoom
