Our focus this term is gymnastics.

During Term 3 our Game Sense focus is gymnastics. The children warm-up at the beginning of our sessions with some Jump Jam (movement to music). We began gymnastics with pencil rolls, trying hard to keep our legs and arms straight and then moved onto forward rolls. We have used the beat board to jump onto the box horse, and then jump and land on a mat. The beam is a favourite and even though some children were a little apprehensive to begin with, they all managed to balance and walk along it. The children really look forward to Game Sense and they would like to thank Julie for organising the equipment and teaching them new skills.
