What an amazing fun-filled afternoon. The sun was shining and the teamwork was in full action. A huge thank you to all the parents who helped at our stations without your support we would not have been able to run a successful event.

This is something we host every year and is definitely a highlight on the term calendar. Students were in groups of 5-6 and rotate around 11 station activities. The stations vary from the good old fashioned gumboot throw to pouring water into a large vertical pipe which is full of holes. 

The students benefit from the cross class groupings as they get to develop their skill in cooperating and relating with others and participating and contributing and of course thinking! Students have a large puzzle to put together of the map of New Zealand and it makes for very interesting and entertaining viewing. Imagine having to move with 5 others with only one set of skis or sending a ball along a spouting pipe which is over 8 metres long but your piece is only a small fraction of the pipe.

Well done to the students who worked hard and will be tired after their fun filled afternoon.
