If you've ever owned a pet who always seems to be getting into mischief—or into your food—you'll find a familiar face in Greedy Cat, the star of Joy Cowley's beloved children's book series.

Last term Room 3 read the Greedy Book series by Joy Cowley as part of our shared reading programme. Greedy Cat books have become a firm favourite in our classroom because they use repetition, a simple sentence structure and use humour to engage our young learners.

This inspired Room 3 to write our very own Greedy Cat stories. The children included antics about Greedy Cat coming to Bluestone School, mischief at the supermarket and lots and lots of food stories.

The children also illustrated their stories with a gorgeous drawing of Greedy Cat.
