We love going to the Makerspace Room where we enjoy STEM tasks in the student led-space.

We are really lucky at Bluestone to have the Makerspace Room where we are able to explore different learning experiences such as digital coding, lego, tinkering table, magnetics and the creation station. It has been fantastic having the Year 5 and 6 leaders there to assist us when needed.

STEM is a range of different activities that incorporate the following learning areas;

Science
Technology
Engineering
Maths

Through STEM learning the children are actively involved in inquiry, critical thinking, problem solving, creating, inventing and working together with their peers.

Hayden-I like making things at the craft table.

Elliot- I like being able to try all of the stations.

Xannon-My favourite station is the lego because there's so much of it and I can make anything I want. 

Scout- I like the BeeBots.
