Success at the Festival

ALPINE ENERGY SOUTH CANTERBURY PRIMARY SCHOOLS

GYMNASTICS FESTIVAL Friday 4th September 2015

Students have been practising all term, with the guidance of coaches, ex Bluestone student Ronan Galpin, Samantha Gorton, and Julie. We thank them for all their support, and for giving up their time to help our teams.

A big congratulations to all of the participating students in this event.  Everyone has worked so hard to perfect their routines, their commitment and dedication was a credit to all involved.  38 teams from around South Canterbury schools took part in this event.

This year our Year 7/8 B grade team placed 2nd.  This was a team with ages ranging from year 4  and one year 8 student.  They were just 1 point off placing first= so a great result and an awesome effort from these students.

Congratulations to our Year 5/6 A grade team who won their grade.  This is an outstanding result.  Well done guys, all your hard work has paid off. 

Thank you to the parents who transported our students to the venue and a special thank you to Carly Shelton who helped with the girls' hair do's.
