Fantastic results for the gymnastics team.

Bluestone School competed at the SC Primary Schools Gymnastics Festival on Friday 2nd September 2016, at the Southern Trust Events Centre.  Many schools from around South Canterbury entered teams into this event.

Students have been practicing since week 2 of this term, learning routines including, vaults, beam,  floor, skipping, hoops and team displays.  With the guidance of coaches, ex Bluestone student Ronan Galpin, Miss Samantha Gorton, Mrs Hamilton, Mrs Geddis and Julie Langford, these students have worked hard  to perfect their performances.  We thank the coaches for all their support, and for giving up their time to help our teams.

There are 3 levels of competition. A, B and C grades.  Our Bluestone students did themselves proud in both performance and behaviour.  Four out of the five teams winning or gaining places.
