Bluestone School - Pasifika Day 2021!

Our fantastic Bluestone Pasifika group was invited to Pasifika Day at Timaru South School - Friday 25th June.

The students completed a jam-packed day, completing the following activities:

9.30am-10am Formal opening in the Hall

10-10.40am Station 1 (Fiji experience/ Samoan experience/ Tongan experience/ Tokelauan or Cook Island experience)

10.40-11.20am Station 2 (Fiji experience/ Samoan experience/ Tongan experience/ Tokelauan or Cook Island experience)

11.20-12noon Station 3 (Fiji experience/ Samoan experience/ Tongan experience/ Tokelauan or Cook Island experience)

12noon-12.40pm Station 4(Fiji experience/ Samoan experience/ Tongan experience/ Tokelauan or Cook Island experience)

12.45-1.30pm Blessing of food & shared lunch

1.30-2.20pm Performances in the Hall

2.20-2.30pm Formal Closing in the Hall


A special thank you to Shez Knight for preparing the students for their performance. To Hayden, Darren, and Vicki for supporting the group throughout the day. To the whānau for allowing us to take their children to this event. Last but not least, thank you to the fantastic children who attended Pasifika Day.
