The Team Explorer cross country event is not far away!

Kia ora whānau, cross country is getting closer so here are some dates and information you might find useful:

Week 9: Wednesday 26th March - we will walk to West End Park and we will have a practice run through of the new cross country track.

Week 10: Wednesday 2nd April - this is our main event! Whānau are invited to come along and cheer our Team Explorer tamariki on as they run their cross country event. This begins at 11am and is followed by a picnic at the park, whānau are welcome to join us for lunch.

Week 11: Wednesday 9th April - this is our postponement date if we cannot hold our event on the 2nd April.

On all of these days students will need their good walking/running shoes. They will also need their Bluestone polar fleece or sweatshirt. It is important that any students requiring inhalers have these at school on these days.

If students cannot participate in our training at school or our cross country event it is important that this is communicated to their class kaiako through a note to school, a message on Hero or an email to the class teacher. 

We encourage all tamariki to give cross country a go and to try their best!
