There is a buzz of activity at the moment in the Think Tank pod as we prepare for our upcoming Science Fair.

In the first half of term 3 our topic focus is on the upcoming Science Fair.  It is a true inquiry approach, as children select an investigation, design a fair test and then prepare an entry for our school Science Fair on the 1st of September.

There are a range of interesting topics among these including:  Do boys or girls have better memories?  Are childproof containers really childproof? Do plants grow better under a certain coloured light? and What is the best grass length for optimal root growth?

On Friday the 1st of September the results of these investigations will be on display in the Think Tank Pod and will be open all day for family or friends to view.  Our best entries will then be entered into the Sanford Science and Technology Fair held on the 12th and 13th of September.
