Room 8 have been learning about our emotions and how they make us feel. We have expressed our ideas about these emotions through poetry.

In writing we were learning to describe our emotions through poetry.

We chose a human emotion then wrote our ideas using colour, taste, smell, look, sound and feel to describe the feeling we chose.

Student voice:

Phoebe: I enjoyed finding descriptive words for my poem.

Angela: I liked publishing my poem about happiness.

Jackson: I enjoyed choosing the picture to go with my poem. 

Kaelan: I'm proud of my poem and I liked the background that I         chose.

Isabella: I liked finishing my emotion poem.

Alex: I liked choosing the emotion to write about.
