In writing we designed and wrote a postcard to Mrs Harris to tell her about our holiday.

At the beginning of this term Room 8 learnt how to write postcard messages. We used our holiday highlights to practice writing brief but interesting messages and included an illustration as a snapshot of our holiday. We really enjoyed writing our holiday postcards and have hung them in the classroom so we could read each others messages. 

Student voice:

Kaelan - I enjoyed writing my postcard.

Phoebe - I enjoyed designing the picture on my postcard. All of our postcards are different and they look good.

Ryder - I liked doing my postcard because I felt that it was like a    real postcard.

Chase - I liked writing the message on my postcard.

Ben - I think my stamp design was good.
