Think Tanks focus for Social Sciences in Term 2 was The 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Room 13 researched Commonwealth Games competitors across all events. They looked at the History of the commonwealth games and New Zealand competitors past and present. They choose an athlete for their research project and completed a biography accompanied by a geometrical art piece. Then they created a sculpture made of tinfoil of their chosen athlete.  We created a mini Commonwealth Games Bluestone and our buddy class, Room 9, participated and received medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
