We are excited about a new year of learning in Room 2.

We are enjoying getting to know each other and are making new friends in Room 2.  We have been making books about ourselves as well as learning how to play new reading and maths games together.  We  also have three monarch caterpillars who are happily munching on  swan plants.  We are looking forward to seeing them change over the next week or so.

Here is what we have enjoyed over the first few weeks at school.

Bellah  has enjoyed playing with her friends on the slide.

Penny has enjoyed playing maths games which have involved counting forwards and backwards and before and after numbers.

Kate is enjoying learning about what happens to the caterpillars.

Logan is really enjoying reading and the activities we are doing during reading sessions.

Riley is really enjoying reading this year.

Charlie is enjoying learning about graphs in Maths.

Oliver is enjoying writing stories this year.

Tayah is enjoying reading books with her group.

Spencer is enjoying playing in the sandpit with his friends.

Ali is enjoying playing new maths games in Room 2.

Edie enjoyed making something from the 'O' table in Discovery.

Braxton is enjoying the counting games we are playing during Maths.

Nixon is enjoying writing stories this year.

Cooper enjoyed learning to skip during Discovery time.

Tiana enjoyed playing in the sandpit during Discovery time.

Jude is enjoying reading.  He really enjoyed the story about Brave Triceratops.

Inara is really enjoying Handwriting this year.

Dylan is enjoying story writing this year.

Korbyn is enjoying Reading this year.

Archer is enjoying writing stories this year.
