Trapped in a snow globe!
Oh no! Students in Room 12 are stuck in snow globes, how do they escape?
Room 12 were posed with the problem of being trapped in a snow globe. This sparked some creative writing of how did they get in the snow globe and then how were they going to get out. A range of imaginative stories emerged: some action-packed, some mysterious and some humourous.
Once the story was written and published we then worked on the art work. Each student had their photo taken. This was cut out and stuck on. A background was drawn before the glitter and salt were added. Lastly a plastic bowl was hot glued on.
Come along to Room 12 to shake our snow globes and read the epic adventures. Here are some great snippits to get you started!
Losaline: I heard big loud stomps....
Georgia: all of a sudden there was a blinding flash!
Dylan: the tracks led into a deep, dark cave...
Jeremy: he laughed and smiled with his evil grin
Emily: If you read this label you will get sucked in!
Daniel: I woke up in not my own home but a creepy old mysterious cottage with snow tracks on the hardwood floors.
Jack: I fell through a sheet of ice and slid down a tight cavern and landed in a giant crater filled with sharp deadly icicles dangling from the ceiling.
Lexi: I shake it. Everything goes black.....
Gypsy: Maybe it wasn't all a dream!
