On the 17 of November Think Tank Pod held a walkathon to raise money to give back to the community as part of our ‘Acts of Kindness’ work.

Each student asked for donations or was sponsored per lap for their 30 minute walk. With some students walking more than 30 laps, they were pretty pleased with their efforts.

Think Tank has raised almost $3000 to date and the classes will be choosing various charities to donate items bought using the money rather than sending cash.

Some of the ways they might do this could be by: making/designing helpful hampers, purchasing toys, vouchers, buying nice materials to make cards or gifts for others.
