As a team we have designed and made a collaborative heart with a contribution by every single child in the Creative Creatures.
Values are at the core of everything we do at Bluestone School. The Creative Creatures team decided it would be great to create a piece of art that reflected these values. 'Aroha - to look after and care for others' was also most appropriate to represent visually given our recent experience in lockdown.
The children in each class designed and decorated a template which we then folded in half to make a heart. Each heart was linked to another heart, to make a long chain. Every class then joined their heart chains together making an even longer chain. The final result was a piece of collaborative heart art that is on display in our common space. The children are most proud of their efforts.
