This term the focus for Maths in the Think Tank is Geometry. In particular, Shapes and how they tessellate, rotate and translate. Room 13 have been researching M.C Escher and his Art work using tessellation. The students looked at where they would find tessellations in the real world and created their own tessellations during Maths, as well as a collaborative Art piece.

Connor Attewell said he enjoyed the tessellation art but found creating his own tessellation challenging.
