The High Flyers' teachers and students have spent the last week at Woodend Christian Camp.

Last week the students from the High Flyers' spend two nights and 3 days at Woodend Christian Camp, just north of Christchurch.   Room 12, 13, 14 spent Monday to Wednesday at camp with Mrs Hines, Miss Gorton and Mr Fin,  Room 15 and 16 attended the camp from Wednesday afternoon until Friday along with Sharlene, Nikki and Mr Fin.

The students were welcomed onto the camp by their instructors and spend the next 3 days in the fantastic environment provided. Students were forced to challenge themselves mentally and physically, they tried new experiences and worked together as teams to overcome problems and challenges.  The activities that took place included a climbing wall, Go Karts, Orienteering, Aero Jump, Team Building, Archery,  Air Rifle Shooting and Gaga Dodgeball.

The students applied themselves in all aspects of camp, from their activities to their camp jobs. Students were sensible and supportive, they pushed themselves as individuals, teams and as a pod. It was a great experience for all involved, and one that will be reflected on upon returning to classrooms.

The pod would like to say a HUGE thank you to all the parents who gave up their time to help assist with camp, this couldn't have happened without them.
