Fun with Plasticine

Corinna Brook —

Room 5's imagination ran wild with their ideas on what to make with plasticine.

The focus for Art in the Te Tahi team is construction this term.  We have been using the media of play dough, plasticine and modelling clay to create our artworks.

So far Room 5 have enjoyed rolling a snake, rolling a ball, and pinching the plasticine to create pinch pots, turtles and anything they could think of.

Sophie S - I made a little nest for my turtle to have her baby.  With only one hand too!

Charlotte - I've made an amazing turtle and a pinch pot.

Hazel - I've made a cup and a turtle.

Simon - I made a turtle and a water bowl for my turtle.  I've made a cup too.

Fletcher - I've made a turtle, a cup and a jet pack!

Rose - I've made a turtle and a pinch pot.

Claire - I've made a pinch pot upside down.  It is a firefighter's hat.

Kaylani - I've made a turtle and a pinch pot.

Eva - I've made a pinch pot.

Sophie P - I've made a turtle and a pinch pot.
