Our cricket teams enjoyed watching the skills and abilities of International Test players in Christchurch.

Our girls won the Active Post South Canterbury Primary School cricket competition and our boys were runners up, so it was only natural that they would be excited to travel to Christchurch to watch the New Zealand and Australian cricketers do battle. The speed and accuracy of the bowlers left everyone impressed. The reaction time of the batters and the fielders was amazing. To view the test match was something very special. The fielders kindly signed items for our students. We all had a day to remember. Special thanks to Julie for organising our trip.
