We All Love Our Grandparents
Room 6 wrote stories about their grandparents that they enjoyed sharing with them during our "Grandparents' Afternoon " last Thursday.
Grandparents are such an important part of family life and it is rather unfortunate that some are separated from their grandchildren at present because of living outside of New Zealand and the present travel restrictions. I am missing the lack of physical contact with my two grandchildren in Sydney too but fingers-crossed that the world will become a healthier place in 2021!
Enjoy reading the stories that the children wrote:
Angela: "My grandparents are so nice. They make me a good dinner for tea and they make yummy pancakes for breakfast. My Nan has white hair. She likes watching Tipping Point and The Chase."
Autumn: "My Grandma has silver hair and she has a beautiful house. In the weekend I sometimes go there for one or two days. She does lots of stuff with me and I was so excited that she could come."
